We get our hand-picked young spruce shoots for this spirit in early summer from a place called Bad Peterstal in the Black Forest. Freshly picked, they are only soaked in alcohol for a short time and then immediately distilled. The result is a fresh spirit with clear and very distinct aromas. Intense and powerful, without being overpowering. Delicately-spiced pinewood flavours with plenty of room for gentle overtones.
