90% of the final quality hail from the raw material. The fruit we process is sourced from our orchards and from regional fruit growers. Faude Feine Brände come from fruit varieties that are hallmarks of our region. Such as the damson plum, the Zibarte or wild plum or the traditional morello cherry.
Our fruit brandies and spirits pay homage to the typical aromas of these fruit varieties. The results are new and surprising interpretations of classics, and sometimes: surprises that go on to be classics.
THAT’S THE SPIRIT!
Creating a spirit opens up the possibility to make the familiar different and to play with the unknown. So we take a piece of nature, combine it with pure grain alcohol and end this flirt after a while by distilling it. In this way, only early and clearly discernible notes appear in the distillate. What we take away in terms of time, we put back in fruit. The result: a most harmonious paradox. Intensively fresh, immediate and yet – multi-layered and supple.
LIQUEUR IS FOR LOVERS.
They surprise at every tasting and do away with clichéd nostalgia and sticky memories. They are fresh, fruity and strike an elegant balance between the sweet and the sour: our liqueurs. Fresh juice from seasonal home-grown fruit, alcohol, a little bit of sugar – that’s it. Worlds away from the dusty image of the coffee party companion, liqueur is our way of promoting “5 A Day” with a punch. Straight or on ice, in an aperitif, in a cocktail, stirred or shaken! More than a little fortifier for the afternoon and far more than drinkable.
