Cancellation Policy

If the Customer is a consumer, that is to say a natural person placing the order for a purpose largely unattributable to their commercial or self-employed activity, the Customer is entitled to a right of cancellation as specified by the legal provisions.

The legal provisions and regulations that are reproduced in detail in the following cancellation policy apply to the right of cancellation:

Right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract without specifying reasons within fourteen days.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier take or takes possession of the final item or the final part delivery or the final piece.

To comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient that you send notification of the exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will be obliged to reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs arising from you having selected a different type of delivery than the cheaper standard delivery offered by us), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received your notification of cancellation of the contract. For this repayment, we will use the same method of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will fees be incurred for you as a result of this repayment. We can refuse repayment until we receive the goods back again or until you have proven that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier occurrence.

You must return the goods to FAUDE feine BRÄNDE without delay and in any case within fourteen days of the day on which you notify us of cancellation of this contract. The cancellation deadline is met if you send the goods before expiry of the fourteen-day cancellation period.

You bear the immediate costs of returning the goods.

You must only bear the cost of any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is attributable to handling of the goods that is not necessary for testing the quality, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Notes on legal exceptions to the right of cancellation:

In accordance with legal provisions, you are not entitled to a right of cancellation in cases including contracts for the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal was removed after delivery.
