The small wild plum variety named Zibarte – affectionately called “Zibärtle” by the locals – has been growing in Baden since the Neolithic Age and was also mentioned by the medieval scholar Hildegard von Bingen. We source our little ur-fruits from Bad Peterstal in the Ortenau region. Very dry and with a robust almond note, our Zibärtle is an unmistakable rarity for connoisseurs, enthusiasts, and everyone else that wants to become one.
